MCS Expands Product Portfolio with Acquisition of EZ-Dumper

Mission Critical Solutions (MCS) is proud to announce the acquisition of the EZ-Dumper™ pickup bed insert product line—an established, well-respected solution that has earned its reputation across multiple industries. This acquisition represents more than a new product offering for MCS; it is a strategic investment in our future, our people, and our ability to control our own destiny as a manufacturing organization.

At our core, MCS is a subcontract manufacturing facility. We have built our reputation by supporting OEMs, primes, and partners with high-quality fabrication, welding, and assembly services. While that work remains critical to who we are, subcontract manufacturing naturally comes with ebbs and flows driven by external contracts and timelines. Bringing EZ-Dumper in-house allows us to balance that reality with something equally important: an established product we believe in, built by a team we trust, and supported by a dealer network we value.

A Product We Believe In

One of the most important factors behind this acquisition is the product itself. EZ-Dumper is already proven in the field and respected throughout the industry. This was not an opportunity to reinvent something that already works. Instead, it was an opportunity to steward a strong product forward with the right resources, attention, and manufacturing discipline behind it.

Our goal is not to change what EZ-Dumper is. Our goal is to protect what makes it successful—while finding smart, efficient ways to build it better.

Built for Production, Ready to Scale

The timing of this acquisition aligns directly with recent investments MCS has made in its manufacturing footprint. With the acquisition of our Weber Lane facility, MCS significantly expanded its available production space. For the past year, those buildings were intentionally underutilized as we focused on renovations, layout optimization, and bringing the facility up to MCS production standards.

That work is now complete.

With the space, equipment, and workflows in place, MCS is uniquely positioned to move EZ-Dumper into a streamlined, efficient production environment. In the coming weeks, we will begin shifting product lines and launching EZ-Dumper manufacturing operations with speed and purpose—without sacrificing quality.

This transition allows us to apply the same production-line discipline, fixturing, and process control we use across our OEM programs to an established product that is ready for the next phase of growth.

What This Means for Dealers

For EZ-Dumper dealers, the message is simple: expect minimal to no changes.

The EZ-Dumper website, phone number, and primary points of contact remain unchanged. We are also pleased to share that long-time EZ-Dumper team member Pete Harrison is joining MCS and will continue in the same role dealers and customers already know. Maintaining continuity and trust throughout this transition is a top priority.

We recognize that transitions can create uncertainty. Our commitment is to communicate clearly, move deliberately, and minimize disruption wherever possible. Our goal is to support our dealers—not complicate their operations.

What This Means for Customers

For EZ-Dumper customers, you will continue to receive the same product you know and trust—built to the same specifications, with the same performance expectations.

Where you may notice changes is behind the scenes.

MCS will focus on small, thoughtful improvements that make a meaningful difference: manufacturing efficiency, consistency, quality control, and long-term product support. These are not changes driven by marketing or redesign for the sake of change. They are improvements rooted in manufacturing experience—designed to make the product better, more repeatable, and more sustainable over time.

We are not trying to create a new EZ-Dumper. We are committed to building the best version of the EZ-Dumper that already exists.

Looking Ahead

This acquisition represents an exciting chapter for both MCS and EZ-Dumper. It strengthens our ability to weather market fluctuations, creates internal stability for our workforce, and positions us to invest in product-based growth alongside our subcontract manufacturing business.

Most importantly, it aligns with how MCS approaches everything we do: respect what works, take care of people, and build for the long term.

We’re excited about what’s ahead—and we’re just getting started.
