Brian has been with MCS for nearly 16 years, joining us as a welder in the early years of the company. His talent quickly set him apart. He became the backbone of our welding operations and has remained a constant presence through every stage of our growth.

He’s experienced the successes and the struggles alongside us, and his belief in this organization has never wavered. Brian has also played a vital role in developing younger employees, passing along not just skill, but pride in the craft and accountability to the team.

From the Hyndman area, Brian is just as passionate about the outdoors as he is about his work. When he’s not in the shop, he’s often in the woods or on the water, hunting or fishing.

When we began our search for a Director of Manufacturing, we weren’t just looking for someone with experience; we were looking for someone who puts people first, does the right thing even when no one is watching, and takes responsibility for the standard we uphold. As it turned out, the person we needed was already here.

There’s something meaningful about an individual who stays the course, shows up every day, and leads by example. Brian Dawson has done that since the day he started. He didn’t lobby for attention. He just went to work, and over time, earned the respect of everyone around him.
