Mission Critical Solutions Names Joel Welsh Director of Manufacturing at Weber Lane
Bedford County, PA – September 22nd, 2025 – Mission Critical Solutions (MCS) is proud to formally announce the appointment of Joel Welsh as Director of Manufacturing at our Weber Lane facility.
Joel Welsh, Director of Manufacturing (Weber Ln)
Joel brings a strong background in welding, fabrication, and leadership to this role. A graduate of Chestnut Ridge High School, Joel pursued his degree in Welding Technology at Triangle Tech. Shortly after graduation, he began his career at L.B. Foster, where he spent 15 years honing his craft and advancing his skills. During that time, he earned his Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) credentials, a testament to his dedication and expertise in the field.
When MCS acquired the former L.B. Foster facility on Weber Lane, Joel joined our team and has been an integral part of our growth ever since. For nearly two years, he has served as Production Manager, overseeing daily operations and leading with a calm, steady, and results-driven approach. Though soft-spoken and laid-back in style, Joel has delivered exceptional outcomes in strengthening our manufacturing operations.
As we look ahead, MCS has ambitious plans for our bridge grid operations, including scaling production, hiring additional team members, and updating our facilities. Joel will play a crucial role in these efforts, ensuring that our Weber Lane operation continues to grow as a cornerstone of both MCS and the Bedford County community. We are excited about the future of our Weber Lane operations with Joel at the helm and look forward to continuing to build America—right here in Bedford County.
